Day 1 - Bangkok - Narathiwat

08.30 AM Check-in at the AirAsia counter at Don Mueang International Airport.

12.00 PM Arrive at Narathiwat Airport. Board an air-conditioned minivan.
12.25 PM Travel (3 km / 5 minutes) to lunch at Summer Thon restaurant – by the beach, listening to the sound of the waves.
01.30 PM Travel to Tak Bai District (50 km / 50 minutes) to visit Wat Chontharasirhee (Wat Pitak Phandin Thai) – a tranquil and beautiful temple by the Tak Bai River, one of Narathiwat's prominent temples. This temple is distinguished by local craftsmanship that blends Thai Buddhist, Muslim, and Chinese artistry beautifully and harmoniously, reflecting the multicultural way of life of the local people. It also houses a historical center for Tak Bai.
03.30 PM Travel (700 m / 3 minutes) to see Saphan Khoi 100 Pi Bridge – 345 meters long, spanning the Tak Bai River to Koh Yao. Experience the community life of Muslim fishermen.

Day 2 - Narathiwat - Yala

07.00 hrs. Place luggage outside your room, have breakfast at the hotel, and check out.

Travel to Yala Province (80 km. / 1 hr. 50 min.) to visit Bang Lang Dam – surrounded by lush green nature, it is the first multi-purpose dam in the South, built for small-scale electricity generation, irrigation for agricultural areas, seasonal flood mitigation, and an important freshwater fishery in the South.
12.00 hrs. Lunch at Khrua Balae – delicious Halal food located on Bang Lang Dam.
13.00 hrs. Travel (125 km. / 2 hrs. 40 min.) to visit Suan Muen Bup Pha (Garden of Ten Thousand Flowers) – the location of the Winter Flower Project, a royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The beauty of various flowers carefully planted in rows, blooming across the hills, surrounded by high valleys in a climate with lower temperatures than other areas in the South.
17.00 hrs. Travel (7 km. / 12 min.) to visit Betong Hot Spring – a large natural spring, a natural recreation area containing various minerals. The temperature is 60 – 80 ºC, and there is a boiling water area where you can boil eggs until cooked within 7 minutes. You can relieve fatigue by soaking your feet in the hot spring.
17.45 hrs. Travel (13 km. / 20 min.) for dinner at Ta Yern Restaurant (Kitti) – a popular local Chinese restaurant.
19.00 hrs. Walk (300 m. / 1 min.) to check-in at Grand Mandarin Hotel – a 25-story hotel with morning mist views.

Day 3 - Exploring Betong, Yala

04.30 AM Depart for Aiyerweng Subdistrict (38 km / 54 minutes) – to Microwave Hill at km 32, which is 620 meters above sea level, to witness the beautiful sea of mist coupled with the sunrise. The highlight is that no matter what season you visit, you will have the opportunity to see the sea of mist all year round.
08.00 AM Return to the accommodation for breakfast at Grand Mandarin Hotel.
10:00 AM Walk through Betong town to see the Clock Tower, Ancient Post Box, and Street Art.
11.30 AM Travel (16 km / 25 minutes) for lunch at Nil Fish Pond Restaurant (Smart Farmer) Sai Nam Lai – famous for its seafood.
13.00 PM Travel (10 km / 18 minutes) to visit

  • Piyamit Tunnel – a historical site from the Cold War era, once used as a hiding place and a supply depot for political dissidents in the Malay Peninsula.
  • Outside the tunnel – you will find a clean and refreshing forest and stream. At the base of an ancient tree, known as the Thousand-Year-Old Tree, it has been designated as a national tree heritage site.

15.00 PM Travel (16 km / 25 minutes) to see the OK Bentong sign – a symbol of Betong's tourism.
16.00 PM Travel (3 km / 6 minutes) to visit Wat Phutthathiwat – located on a hill in Betong town, it is a very beautiful temple featuring the largest bronze Buddha image in Thailand, a Chedi built in an applied Srivijaya style as tall as a 13-story building, and a Viharn dedicated to Luang Pu Thuat, who "stepped on the sea to turn saltwater fresh."
16.30 PM Travel (2 km / 3 minutes) to see Betong Mongkolrit Tunnel – the first road tunnel under a mountain in Thailand, constructed with reinforced concrete. In the evening, the tunnel is illuminated with dazzling lights.
17.30 PM Travel (900 m / 3 minutes) for dinner at Baan Khun Chai – a popular local Thai restaurant.
19.00 PM Travel (600 m / 3 minutes) to check in at Grand Mandarin Hotel for another night.

Day 4 - Yala - Pattani

11:45 AM Travel (8 km / 14 minutes) for lunch at Khrua Rim Nam Km. 39 Yala – a restaurant with a pleasant riverside atmosphere in front of the waterfall.
01:00 PM Travel (139 km / 2 hours 16 minutes) to Bang Pu Tourism Community, Pattani – covering an area of 4.90 square kilometers. Take a longtail boat to enjoy the views and pass through the 800-meter long, 6-meter wide “Mangrove Forest Tunnel.” Learn about the community's way of life in conserving nature, which is a habitat for clams, crabs, and fish. Each boat seats 6-7 people, and the boat trip takes approximately 1 hour.
05:00 PM Travel (10 km / 13 minutes) to Chue Kung Shrine to pay respects to Chao Mae Lim Ko Niao – an ancient shrine that has been a landmark of the town since 1574, serving as a center of faith for Thai people of Chinese descent in Pattani and abroad.

  • Refund full amount only upon trip cancellation by Stellar Tour operator by the same method as that of the payment.
